Give praise to the Lord,
  proclaim his name;
 make known among the nations
  what he has done.
Psalm 105:1

Proclaim Performing Arts Academy (PPAA) is a nonprofit faith-based homeschool cooperative where students can learn and grow their talents in a fun, encouraging, and supportive environment. Our mission is to help homeschool students discover and develop their God-given talents while building confidence, creativity, and friendships along the way! We want every student to know that they are talented, capable, and deeply loved by God.

At Proclaim, we're more than a performing arts program—we're a community that celebrates each student's unique gifts and helps them use those gifts to shine His light on and off the stage! Join us for our upcoming programs.

We are excited to announce our Fall 2026 Production of:

The timeless enchantment of a magical fairy tale is reborn with the Rodgers & Hammerstein hallmarks of originality, charm and elegance. Originally presented on television in 1957 starring Julie Andrews, Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella was the most widely viewed program in the history of the medium. Its recreation in 1965 starring Lesley Ann Warren was no less successful in transporting a new generation to the miraculous kingdom of dreams-come-true, and so was a second remake in 1997, which starred Brandy as Cinderella and Whitney Houston as her Fairy Godmother. As adapted for the stage, with great warmth and more than a touch of hilarity, this enthralling fairy tale still warms the hearts of children and adults alike.

In this specially created Youth Edition, all the beloved songs and familiar characters are present and accounted for. However, the entire script has been condensed to better suit young attention spans, and the plot has been slightly altered to highlight some important lessons for contemporary audiences.

Meet Our Directors

Jackie Freeman

Program Director

Ms. Jackie brings over 20 years of experience in theatre, spanning performance, technical crew, and directing. She participated in Honors Drama in High School and was inducted into the International Theaspian Society in 2003. After High School, she attended UNC-Charlotte majoring in Secondary Education with a minor in Dance before moving on to other adventures and starting a family. Her passion for the arts led her to direct a homeschool theatre group in New York, where she nurtured young performers and fostered a love for the stage.

In 2021, Ms. Jackie relocated to sunny Florida, a move that blessed her and her children with exciting new opportunities in this amazing homeschool community. She now proudly serves as the director and choreographer for all of PPAA’s productions, sharing her creative vision and love of theatre with the next generation of performers.

When she’s not in rehearsal, Ms. Jackie enjoys playing board games and traveling with her three children.

Outside of theatre, he is an avid gamer and Star Wars fan who enjoys building, strategy, and storytelling.

Married for ten years, Alyssa and Chauncy are passionate about creating spaces where young people can explore creativity, build confidence, and grow through the arts. Outside of theatre, they enjoy board games, thrifting, and spending time with friends.

Krystle Anderson

Music Director

A grown-up theatre kid herself, Krystle Anderson joins the PPAA team with over two decades of experience. Known for her classical yet engaging approach, she has directed and performed in musicals, worship bands, youth ensembles, and choirs, and has taught private voice and piano lessons.

Krystle began her journey in the arts at Booker High School’s VPA Theatre Program in Sarasota before studying music at the University of Tampa. In 2017, Krystle and her husband settled down in Parrish to raise their three children. As a homeschool mom herself, she appreciates utilizing a bespoke and faith based approach to theater and the performing arts for the next generation of performers. Currently she is serving as the Director of Classical Conversations Homeschool community and as a worship leader at her home church, North River Church in Parrish.

Krystle is happy to work in all musical aspects—from auditions to final performance—while helping them grow in both skill and confidence. Soli Deo Gloria.
